Following the build-up of suspense with all the preceding months of teasing, Sony is finally ready to launch the much-awaited VAIO Z featuring the world’s first contoured carbon fiber mold. It is going to feature the world’s very first three-dimensional molded full carbon body design in their lightweight flagship model, weighing under 2.3lbs.
The contoured carbon fiber is the first of many that is made through a process of stacking the carbon fiber sheets in three dimensions. This 3D design enhances the device’s overall durability, rigidity and the design of the device like never before.
The new VAIO Z is powered by the latest 11th Gen. Intel Core H series processor with enhanced VAIO TruePerformance for unmatched performance and overall productivity. It enables the users to experience unmatchable speed for a lag-free experience.
The device is also equipped with a stunning 4K UHD display with 99.8% DCI-P3 color gamut integrated with the Panel Self Refresh for amazing power savings like never before. It enables users to experience movie theatre like graphics without any further issues.
Moreover, the UHD display has exceptional brightness, all thanks to the high contrast LCD settings, which enables the users to experience realism at its best.
The VAIO Z is also designed with a freshly designed backlit keyboard that instills a smoother flair in typing ergonomically without straining your hands or fingers. With the desperate need of privacy, the users also get the Camera Privacy Shutter that covers the camera physically to better preserve your privacy and block any future transmission of images.
Coming to the connectivity options, the VAIO Z features two different USB Type-C along with Thunderbolt 4 ports that enables smoother video, power along with data transfer with 40 Gbps.
The carbon fiber material that controls the thickness of the fiber along with the direction of the lamination by enhancing the durability and stiffness of the device. The keyboard features the key pitch stroke to 1.5mm. The keys have a concave shape that seamlessly cradle the fingertips for a comfortable typing experience.
The VAIO Z is also designed with an ergonomic design with a flexible hinge that allows you to open the display with one hand without requiring extra support of the palms. The device is designed with a uniquely shaped hinge for a sturdy display experience with a comfortable grip.
The VAIO Z is backed with heightened security and privacy with fingerprint and facial recognition as biometrics. All you have to do is sit in front of the PC and the motion sensor in the device picks up your movements to complete the login process for you in a single touch.
The device is also integrated with up to 2TB SSD for storage along with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. All the variants provide with up to 10 hours of battery life and is available in the standard Signature Black design.
