Samsung’s Galaxy range has time and time managed to leave its consumers in an utter state of shock, especially with the integrated advancements and technological innovations. In recent news, Samsung launched two new additions to their Galaxy Book range, including the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360.
Integrated with the latest Galaxy ecosystem with the IoT capabilities, both these new additions from Samsung are here to streamline workflow and further boost entertainment across multiple devices. The devices have also been designed and developed under open collaboration with leading industrial brands, including Intel and Microsoft.
The primary objective behind the development and manufacturing of these two devices was to streamline and boost the concept of mobile computing, enabling PCs and smartphones to work in tandem without compromising the performance or productivity at all.
Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics stated that at Samsung, they have always envisioned the creation of exciting mobile experiences with new and old hardware along with a few new ways that would eventually help you live your life to the fullest.
Building on that, Dr. Roh further reiterated that the new Galaxy Book Pro series offers just that, enabling the users to stay connected to the world with an ultra-light and highly portable device in the Galaxy ecosystem.
Design and Build
The Galaxy Book Pro is designed to tackle the drawbacks of a multi-device world, with the widespread ecosystem of connected devices that contribute to the user’s productivity and entertainment.
Both the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 have been designed for the mobile users in the current world, who are always on the go. Aside from making your workflow a lot more streamlined, these devices were also designed to make the overall experience a lot more intuitive.
The 13-inch Galaxy Book Pro weighs 0.87kg, something that enables you to make the most out of the user experience, especially when it comes to carrying it around the world. However, the compactness and lightweight design of this device doesn’t affect its durability. You wouldn’t have to worry about the device not last long, the same applicable for the Samsung Galaxy Book 360 as well.
Both the Galaxy Book Pro devices are designed with the best quality military-grade material with 6000-series aluminum that is used in the aerospace industry for construction of their items.
Connectivity and Communications
Aside from the durable construction, Samsung has also taken the connectivity options up by a notch. The devices support the LTE and 5G connectivity, allowing you to convert any of these devices into a mobile workspace or even a theatre anywhere you are in the world. The Galaxy Book Pro series devices are also Wi-Fi 6E ready for the best wireless connectivity.
Samsung understands that in order to encourage mobile work, battery life is extremely important. So, it isn’t even a surprise at this point that both the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 feature long-lasting battery life, with 65W fast charging port with an USB Type-C adapter, so you are never worried about staying hooked to the power outlet.
Display and Visuals
Both these devices are also the first ever Windows PCs from Samsung that are equipped with a stunning and vibrant AMOLED display, producing less blue light emission and enabling users to have the best visual experience.
Also, the displays are integrated with the Intelligent Color Engine that helps fine-tune the color payoff for realistic color reproduction of the visuals.
Performance and Productivity
The devices under the Galaxy Book Pro series are powered by the latest 11th Gen. Intel Core processors with the Intel Iris Xe graphics. They are also Intel Evo certified, meaning that they match up to the customer satisfaction levels with respect to immersive graphics, long-lasting battery and the overall usability.
Another features in the devices that further contribute to elevated performance and ergonomics is the Pro keyboard with the scissor mechanism that ensures 1mm travel length for superior user experience. Also, the touchpad in the device is 23% larger, offering a more comfortable typing experience.
The Galaxy Book Pro series laptops are also integrated with the unique Studio mode that makes video calls a lot more tangible and user-friendly. Pair that with Intelligent Noise Cancelling and Screen Recorder function and you have a winner right there, especially when it comes to seamless communication.
