Razer’s upcoming Blade 15 that comes out later this year features the world’s very first 240Hz OLED QHD display with next-gen responsive specifications.
Razer’s upcoming launch later in the year, the all-new Blade 15 is going to stand out from the rest of their portfolio, featuring the world’s first 240Hz OLED QHD display with a redesigned appearance and refreshed specifications.
Reports from the tech brand reports that the new Blade 15 will be powered by the latest 12th Gen. Intel Core i9 processor with the NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti GPU for the ultimate responsiveness and all-day productivity that users can take the most advantage out of.
Razer clarified that the model will be available for sale in the last quarter of 2022 at a starting price of $3,499.99.
Featuring a stunning and sleek 15.6” display, it is integrated with the DCI-P3 color gamut with 1ms overdrive response for the ultimate gaming and content creation experience. The display is further backed with 400 nits brightness to produce true to life color reproduction and support vivid visuals.
Coming to the accessory specifications, the new Blade 15 will be integrated with 1TB SSD storage with 32GB DDR4 RAM for memory configuration and the ultimate multitasking experience. Users can also expand the storage with the additional M.2 slot.
As for the ports and connectivity, the upcoming Blade 15 will feature the latest Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A and HDMI ports along with an SD card reader for the ultimate data transfer and connectivity.
The predecessor, the 2019 Blade 15 Advanced came out with a choice between the 4K OLED or the 240Hz LCD display panel. However, the 2022 Blade 15 will integrate the best of both worlds and feature a 240Hz OLED display, the first of its kind.
Keeping the price of the upcoming Blade 15 aside, having access to a gaming laptop with the combined OLED+240Hz refresh rate will be a definite game changer in the market. Depending on the user response and popularity, we’d have to wait to see if other laptop brands walk down the same path and launch gaming laptops with similar specifications in the future.
Despite the price release and the basic specifications of the upcoming Blade 15, we still don’t have a confirmed launch date of the model. So, users will have to wait until the official announcement to know more about the device’s availability.
