RAM and Storage
The Razer Blade Stealth 13.3” QHD touchscreen Ultrabook has a 16 GB Dual-Channel 2133 MHz memory which is huge and roomy, something that a lot of enthusiasts demanded. This mighty RAM can drive mammoth of tasks smoothly and gives you high speed for handling your massive files or switching between different applications.
It has a 256 GB SSD, but the PM951 driver costs it’s efficiency a bit. It’s not a bad driver, but it has relatively slow written up speeds and lower capacities compared to a lot more better drivers in the market which could amp it up!
Processor and Graphics
The performance of this laptop is brawny! It has Intel Core i7-8550U, and it can swallow any multimedia, school or work tasks that you throw at it. Clocked in 1.8 GHz clock speed it will edit your 1080p videos smoothly and will render it fast. It also offers Turbo Boost which booms up to 4.0 GHz. 4k videos will be a bit gnarly but you know it’s an ultrabook.

Design and Display
It’s got an excellent build quality and weighs 2.98 pounds which is way lighter than other versions. It has a great look, but the black finish would show scratches if any. So a skin cover is a must if you hate em’ scratches.
Another good part was that Razer did listen to consumer complaints about thick bezels and narrowed it down. On the display front, it has two different screen sizes available – the older is 12.5” panel and the new is 13.3” panel. It brags the unpopular 16:9 screen aspect ratio.
The dimensions of this ultrabook are 8.1 x 12.7 x 0.5 inches. It gives a wonderful resolution of 3200 x 1800 with 178 degree viewing angles and vivid, pixel-precision colors so watching or editing video in this laptop will be a treat.
It is strongly preferred because it’s got an excellent color gamut and the accuracy is also laudable, after calibration. The hero feature of the display is that it’s touch-enabled and has a multi-point touchscreen interface.
One of the cons of the display is its glossy screen. It is bright and LED lit, but especially with that screen, it’s not ideal for bright rooms. It reflects pretty much what you see outside unless the room is not dark. But as you know, the bezel has shrunken down and is a huge relief.
Ports and Speaker
The ports haven’t changed. It has one HDMI 2.0a audio/video output, USB 3.0 port x2, Thunderbolt™ 3, and 3.5mm microphone/headphone combo port. The thunderbolt does an outstanding job of amplifying the graphics and transfer files faster.
The built-in stereo speakers are dynamic. Featuring them on each side, it boasts a Dolby® Digital Plus Home Theater Edition and offers a surround and loud stereo. The HDMI infused in it also gives 7.1 Codec support.
Battery and Keyboard
Powered with Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery, the battery life remains the same at 53.6 watt-hours. Running the same usual tasks and programs, it is clocking in over a little more than seven hours which is good! It is a bit less, like a pinch less than the previous model, but it’s because it has an ample screen space to light up.
The keyboard still dons the same style since the time it was launched. It’s tough to say that there is anything fresh to speak of about the keyboard. They could have given more travel to the keys. They have the RGB lighting which is pretty decent, but without the function keys being lit up, you might have to switch on the room lights or memorize the keys.
The trackpad in this laptop is upgraded. The previous one had a more pronounced click. But the tracking on this trackpad is so much better because of windows precision drivers! It has a Trusted Platform Module security chip embedded into it which provides maximum security via integrated cryptographic keys.
Posing the new chassis and gunmetal sleek look, the Razer Blade Stealth 13.3” QHD touchscreen Ultrabook is a great for anything apart from heavy gaming. If you are in for some heavy duty tasks, it may not be right for you.
