A new Alienware m15 R5 laptop from Dell just appeared on Dell China’s website with the initial specifications and a tentative price of RMB 16,999.
With all the new launches happening around, Dell’s Alienware series isn’t holding back. A new gaming laptop from the series, the Alienware M15 R5 featuring the latest Ryzen 7 5800H processor was spotted on Dell’s Chinese website.
The initial inputs on the website report that the device is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU for a competitive edge when it comes to playing the graphics-intensive games.
This new gaming laptop is also equipped with a standard 15.6” FHD display with 165Hz refresh rate for a high-brush gaming screen and butter-smooth gameplay.
As for the overall construction and design of the Alienware M15 R5, the device has everything you likely need for a premium quality gaming laptop. It features an all-black design with backlit keyboard that enables you to work from anywhere, despite the time of the day.
While Alienware and Intel have had a very strong bond since the beginning, releasing gaming laptops integrated with the latest Intel processors. It was only back in 2017 that the users witnessed the first Alienware gaming laptop with the AMD Ryzen technology with the threadripper CPU that came out at the time.
However, the recent switch from Intel to AMD processors is a significant sign that AMD has managed to cause a split between Alienware and Intel and there are no doubts that the Alienware M15 R5 is one of those power-budget gaming laptops that will shift the user’s gaming experience for the better.
Further expectations surrounding the Alienware M15 R5 suggest that the device will likely feature a base configuration of 16GB RAM with NVMe SSD for faster storage and boot-up. Further rumors indicate a possibility of the devices being integrated with at least 1TB NVMe SSD for superior storage requirements.
Aside from this variant of the Alienware M15 R5, the prior leaks that were listed on the Twitter user, Rogame’s account, suggest that there are going to be two other variants to this new launch, featuring the Ryzen 7 5800H and GeForce RTX 3070.
Although much hasn’t been disclosed about the device, especially in terms of the storage and memory and the ports, the listing on Dell’s Chinese website suggest that the device is going to be priced at RMB 16,999.
