MSI, a world leader in gaming laptops recently unveiled GF63 Thin Bezel gaming laptop loaded with tons of features and power-packed hardware configurations. On the naked eye, you can’t differentiate much between GS65 Stealth Thin and GF63 Thin Bezel gaming laptops. Thin bezels, aesthetic design, the ultra-slim profile of GF63 gaming laptop are almost identical to GS65 Stealth Thin laptop. In case, you are tight on budget but want the same GS65 look, then there is no better option available than GF63.

Hardware Specifications

MSI GF63 is available in two options GF63 8RC and GF63 8RD. Brushed aluminum chassis combined with unique ventilation technology covers the outer area. MSI GF63 derived superlative performance from latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to max. 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM. Intel HM 370 motherboard supports all attached hardware. The storage option is not yet unveiled, but a 2.5-inch SATA HDD option is mentioned on the company’s website which means you may get 1 TB HDD plus 128 – 512 GB SSD option attached with this gaming beast.

The 15.6-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS level display features just 4.9mm of bezels and 82 percent screen to body ratio delivers vibrant images and offers you more screen space to play your favorite games. There is better clarity, immersive gameplay, stunning visuals, and real-life images even on a wide viewing angle. Graphics card is different on both systems. GF63 8RC consists of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics chipset and GF63 8RD gets NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti chipset. Both chipsets are paired up with 4 GB of dedicated video memory which gives more bandwidth and fluency to deliver vivid graphics.

The red color backlit keyboard is comfortable and responsive. This look bit odd as RGB colors are the flavor of the day nowadays from most of the gaming reputed brands. The keyboard and trackpad are placed very neatly and nicely on the identical body lines of the chassis. As far as connectivity is concerned, you will get USB Type C port, USB type A ports, USB 3.1 port, ethernet port, HDMI option attached to this system. Wireless Internet is supported with 802.11ac Wifi or Bluetooth 5 option. The profile of just 21.7mm thin and 1.86 Kg light-weight makes this laptop highly portable. MSI claims to give you approx. 7-8 hours of battery backup which is superb for any laptop.

MSI GF63 Early Impressions

We are still waiting for full specifications of GF63 gaming laptop, as MSI has not revealed the whole of them. But looking at what we got in this machine till now is superb on all ends. This seems to be one of the best affordable gaming laptops with the latest hardware wrapped in thin, lightweight chassis.
