Microsoft is planning to launch their newest additions to the Surface series with the Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 in the coming few weeks. The corresponding notices have been around for quite some time now but as the dealer listings are being shared gradually, the same is providing with an even better outlook on the specs and features.
Rumors have it that Microsoft is going to initiate the launch of these new additions to the Surface series with an online event for the launch and presentation of their new hardware products by the end of April. Few of these new products have popped up on the Redmond sales partners.
While the leaks started around with the new power supply and the USB-C hub with the power of 127 watts, the devices can now be found around on the website.
Majority of the reports and the experts suggested the inclusion of the Ice Lake processors in the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 3 but the new published listings suggest that the same is going to be powered by the Comet Lake chips with the Intel Core i5-10210U and i7-10510U variants. These new convertibles are expected to be everything that one has been looking for and more.
Both the variants are going to come in a number of varying models, be it the 13.5-inch model and 15-inch version of the Surface Book 3. The larger of the two devices will come powered with the Intel Core i7-10510U as a sole SoC option.
Aside from the latest Intel powerhouse, these latest Microsoft Surface devices are also going to come equipped with a memory options up to 32GB RAM. The 13.5” model will only have the 8GB memory option for the time being.
Aside from that, the storage options are going to extend up to 1TB SSDs, which is pretty amazing and makes these devices an even better option to check out. The 1TB variant is going to be available for both the variants.
The Microsoft Surface Book 3 is also rumored to be packed with the NVIDIA Quadro GPUs but nothing has been confirmed on that front yet.
The Surface Go 2 is rumored to come with an 11” display along with a screen resolution of 1800×1200 pixels. Aside from that, the device is also expected to pack in the powerful Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y which packs in 4GB RAM along with 64 GB storage option of the internal flash memory.
As for the storage options, these devices are expected to pack in up to 256GB SSD options for smart functioning and effortless storage options. While the Surface Go 2 is expected to be available for a price point between 500-1000 euros, the Surface Laptop 3 is expected for a price point of 2000-4300 euros.
