Lenovo is on a roll in 2022 and their list of new launches is a testament to that. The tech brand has recently announced the very first ThinkPad, launched in collaboration with Qualcomm Snapdragon technologies.
The all new ThinkPad X13s is the world’s first laptop powered by the latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3, with next-generation performance and user experience with up to Windows 11 Pro OS support.
Designed with a sleek and ultra-slim chassis and fan-less design, the laptop also supports multi-day battery of up to 28 hours. Users can maximize their productivity with 5G connectivity and the Microsoft App Assure program for optimal collaboration and security.
With Lenovo’s mission towards improved sustainability, it isn’t surprising that the latest ThinkPad X13s is designed with 90% certified recycled magnesium, 97% PCC plastic and comes in a recyclable packaging as well.
The ThinkPad X13s is also designed to consume less energy, thanks to the unique low temperature solder method, which reduces the carbon emissions by 35%. Paired with a compact 13.3” display, users will rejoice in superior performance and responsiveness throughout the day.
Lightweight and premium design
Ideally designed for a wide range of consumers, the ThinkPad X13s is lightweight and weighs 1.06kg. Integrated with the latest Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, users can make the most out of their hybrid work environment, or even when they are on the go.
Keeping collaborative performance in mind, Lenovo has included a communications bar with a good-quality 5-megapixel camera with AI-based auto framing technology and triple-array microphone support that ensures smoother and clear video calls and communication.
The highlight of the latest ThinkPad is the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor that comes with major improvements and heightened support for security and privacy like no other.
The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is the world’s first 5nm platform for Windows PCs, making it one of the most powerful computing platforms that Qualcomm has developed till date. Besides performance, the processor also contributes to optimal battery efficiency.
Besides the latest Snapdragon process, users can make the most out of Qualcomm Adreno GPU for crisp and defined graphics.
Coming to the display, the ThinkPad X13s will feature up to 13.3” WUXGA IPS display panel with 400 nits brightness and low blue light emission to protect the vision of the users.
Lenovo has also taken care of the overall performance and data management with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage for faster boot-up of applications and responsive performance all throughout the day.
As for the ports and connectivity goes, the ThinkPad X13s is equipped with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, Audio, SIM and does lack the Thunderbolt 4 port, which is a downside. The device will be available in Thunder Black color variant.

Pricing and Availability
The ThinkPad X13s will be available at a starting price of €1399 from May, 2022.
In the United States, the ThinkPad X13s will be available via AT&T, and on Verizon in 2022. Specifications about the same haven’t been disclosed yet.
