Lenovo Launches 11″ Chromebook 3 Starting at $229
The advancement in science and technology has people choosing a product from a plethora of options. People have different needs and expectations from their devices. They could be looking for a high-end laptop or budget-friendly laptops. Having said that, people nowadays are looking for one common quality, that is, compactness.
Ease of portability is a quality most people would not want to comprise on. One of the main reasons why people opt for Lenovo laptops is because of its affordability. In late May, the company launched its 14-inch Chromebook 3 which runs on Google’s Chrome OS, and this week it released the Lenovo Chromebook 3 with an 11-inch display, giving people exactly what they needed-compactness.
The smaller size of the Chromebook has compromised on its processor as this Lenovo Chromebook 3 has Intel Celeron N4020 1.10GHz processor which is low-end.
The 64GB eMMC storage promises smooth functionality and rapid response from the system packed with a 4GB RAM. It’s a great deal for all those who desperately want a good laptop but are on a budget.
The 11.6-inch laptop with a 1366*768 anti-glare screen should be sufficient for browsing, watching movies, and playing games. It is a basic and cheap machine, so it wouldn’t be fair to expect a better screen quality from Chromebook 3. It doesn’t come with a touch screen either. It should be fine for the user to use it for light day-to-day activities.
Even though the new Lenovo Chromebook 3 can’t take a 360-degree flip, the 180-degree hinge makes it rather compelling as it can lay flat on the table – thanks to its petit design and screen. The current epidemic has us working from home and the 180-inch makes it comfortable to work in any position that we sit.
Even with the smaller screen, they haven’t comprised of the quality of the webcam. It has a 720p webcam with 2*2W stereo speakers which makes the audio quite clear. Additionally, it has a slot for microSD cards and ports for both USB-A as well as USB-C. It has Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity which makes the transfer of files a much faster process.
It’s worth noting that this laptop comes with a layer of security as Lenovo promises to update your system every six weeks to keep your device away from all the threats. It assures you to go through a verified reboot process if malicious content is found and to return your system in a safer environment. It’s safe to say that Lenovo has got you all covered in the safety department.
Though Lenovo is known for having one color on its laptop. The company seems to have overdone themselves by opting for a unique look for their newest 11-inch Lenovo Chromebook 3.
On the first look, it might seem like just another charcoal black body but as you move closer and take a better look, you will notice that this laptop is not like just any other. It comes in a two-tone “Onyx Black” color with a unique texture finishing on it. It will surely leave you with a good impression.
In conclusion, Lenovo Chromebook 3(11) might be just a few bucks cheaper from its 14-inch sibling but it sure does offer good upgrades which makes it worth paying for an 11-inch version.
As mentioned earlier, it was only a week back that 14-inch Chromebook 3 launched and it is already sold out but the 11-inch variant is in stock. Even in the time of crisis, Lenovo is coming up with better delivery facilities to deliver your 11-inch Lenovo Chromebook 3 to your homes and that is if you order it soon enough.
