With the world leading the game front of technology, new and more advanced technologies are being added to the score. Lenovo is further blazing a path for some of the latest ultra-fast and low latency laptops combined with the faster connectivity of the 5G computing. The company had been looking through a series of mobile network operator partnerships that have been committed to making 5G computing a reality for the consumers.
The Lenovo Yoga 5G, otherwise known as the Lenovo Flex 5G is the world’s first and finest 5G computing device with leading mobile service operators including Verizon, Sunrise, CMCC and EE.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G processor to deliver high speed 5G network and connectivity, which is 10x faster than some of the precursors including 4G.
Johnson Jia, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Business Segment stated that the primary reason behind the launch of Lenovo Flex 5G was to equip the mobile generation with smarter technology for smoother connectivity and computing with any glitches.
The company has even stepped into some strategic partnerships with some of the global 5G carriers to help the consumers access easier, faster and a lot more secure connectivity from anywhere across the world.
5G computing is likely going to transform user experience, which is likely one of the primary reasons why it is now or never for the PC industry to tap into it before its too late.
As stated above, the Lenovo Flex 5G is the first 5G integrated laptop in the market. It is a convertible laptop integrated with Windows 10 that offers high speed performance and connectivity to further reduce latency and widen the bandwidth of the performance of the device.
The one striking feature of this device that is hands down one of the best is likely the 24-hours battery life, especially because of the latest Snapdragon computing platform.
Stacking on the 5G network support, there is nothing that the Flex 5G can’t do. This is one of the leading options for the mobile multitaskers who need better connectivity options with seamless video chatting, real time collaborating, gaming and easy file transfer options.
One of the biggest challenges that the developers faced was to fit in such a powerful and new technology into a thin and lightweight 2-in-1 convertible design. They had to work in shrinking down the 5G antennas to seamlessly fit inside the chassis of the device without any hassle and all the while ensuring that the connectivity is seamless despite which mode the user kept the device in.
The final result in the design included a new patented 5G antenna system by Lenovo which is the smallest 5G module in the world right now. It also supports both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz that allows the users to access the 5G coverage in both the laptop and tablet mode.
The Lenovo Flex 5G with have the 5G network coverage starting in United States followed by other countries in Europe and then in China.
The device is going to be available from June 18 in U.S online at Verizon for $1,399.99. Users can even download the My Verizon App to avail the device at a monthly installment of $58.33.
