Lenovo has finally announced new additions to their existing ThinkPad and ThinkVision series with the launch of ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 and ThinkPad T series laptops.

After being crowned as one of the world’s most sustainable companies by Corporate Knights, Lenovo is all set to amplify their approach towards an eco-friendlier manufacturing of their devices. Unique strategies like including post-consumer plastic and recycle plastic in different parts of the device, further contributing the sustainability.

ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5

The brand-new ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 is nothing short of a compact and portable productivity beast. Lenovo has particularly designed the X1 Extreme for the users who want a device that supports all-day productivity and high-definition entertainment from the get-go.

Powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors with an optional Intel vPro technology for the uninterrupted performance. Also, users can make the most out of the variety of GPU options up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 16GB GDDR6.

Users can also make the most out of their productivity with the two integrated 4TB SSD of storage and up to 64GB RAM for superior multitasking. Also, the large capacity 90Wh battery supports prolonged battery life for optimal user experience.

If you are concerned about the thermal solutions, both the CPU and GPU is backed with vapor chamber cooling that supports 10% performance boost for optimal performance rendition and efficiency.

One of the most unique features in the X1 Extreme is that it will come integrated with Tile’s full suite of finding features. This will allow the users to locate their device up to 14 days in case they lose or misplace it.

ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 and P16s Gen 1

Next up on the list of new launches include the ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 and P16s Gen 1. These mobile workstations render optimal power and performance like no other.

Both the laptops are powered by the latest 12th Gen. Intel core processors with NVIDIA T550 professional graphics. The devices are also ISV-certified, which is yet another benefit that you can make the most use out of.

Lenovo Thinkpad P14s Gen3

Backed with the ThinkShield security suite and MIL-SPEC testing, users won’t have to worry about the quality or the security of the devices. Lenovo has also improved the design of the devices with larger and easily navigable touchpad, all-day battery, FHD webcam and a stunning display panel.

Designed with a thin and compatible 16-inch chassis, the ThinkPad P series is a versatile device, ideally created for the creative heads in the society. Both the devices come with a choice between black or aluminum storm grey color.

ThinkPad T series

Further expanding their productivity portfolio, Lenovo has new devices in the ThinkPad T series. Lenovo’s bestselling suite of business laptops have three new additions with ThinkPad T16, ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 and T14 Gen 3.

All the new devices are powered by the 12th Gen. Intel core processor with an option between Radeon graphics or the Intel Iris Xe graphics. There are options for MX 550 or RTX 2050 discrete graphics on Intel models, further amplifying the graphics performance in the devices.

The new devices in the ThinkPad T-series come in two size variants, 14 and 16 inches display panel with 16:10 aspect ratio. Users can experience true to life color reproduction, 4K resolution with 500 nits brightness and the Dolby Vision HDR support in these variants.

Addressing the diversity in consumers, the T14 and T16 come with different battery configurations with 39.3Wh and the 52.5Wh option.

ThinkPad T14 will be the first device in the market presenting the unique and brand-new human presence detection software using the ultrasound sensor technology. The software is developed by Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform.

Besides all that, Lenovo has prioritized security with an integrated fingerprint reader in the power button for a secure sign-in using Windows Hello.

ThinkVision M14d

Last on the new range of launches from Lenovo is the ThinkVision M14d, which is an USB Type-C monitor. Designed to support hybrid work environments, the monitor weighs 1.3 pounds and is equipped with a 14-inch IPS 2.2K display with 16:10 aspect ratio.

The monitor comes with USB Type-C connectivity with superior data transfer. The USB hub in the monitor allows users to connect multiple external devices for improved productivity.

Designed with an ergonomic height adjustment stand, the ThinkVision M14d is designed to support all-day productivity. The display comes with the blue light shield technology that reduces strain on the eyes.

Pricing and Availability

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 will be available starting June, 2022 from 2749€.

The ThinkPad P16s Gen 1i will be available starting April, 2022 from 1549€.

The ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 will be available starting April, 2022 from 1529€.

The ThinkVision M14d Mobile Monitor will be available starting August, 2022 from 359€.
