Following their spring launch with the all new Legion laptops focused on their customer expectations with ergonomic keyboard and improved thermal system, the brand has brought in something even better.
The engineers at Lenovo have now expanded the existing range, adding a few more mobile and desktop processors for an even better gaming experience. These AMD Ryzen processors allow users to experience gaming in multiple levels.
The three main mobile devices that Lenovo has introduced include the 17” Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, Lenovo Legion 5P laptop Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop, all of which are suitable for both advanced and entry level gaming.
Lenovo Legion 5
The first addition to the new launch is the 17.3” FHD wide-viewing angle display for improved picture quality. It is also equipped with the Harman Kardon Speaker System along with Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive audio experience.
The device is also designed with Lenovo’s Truestrike keyboard for extra efficiency with typing. It is also designed with a white-backlit keyboard for improved soft landing switched.
But, that is not where it stops. The device is also equipped with 1TB PCIe SSD for storage along with 16GB DDR4 RAM for improved efficiency and performance beyond your imagination.
It is also manufactured with the potent Legion Coldfront 2.0 thermal solutions that prevent unnecessary overheating when you are blazing through some of the heavy-duty games.
The device also supports up to 7.5 hours of battery life, which is pretty amazing for a gaming device of this calibre.
Lenovo Legion 5P
Much like the prior one, the Lenovo Legion 5P is powered by the stunning AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors along with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs for faster processing and smoother user experience.
This one is equipped with the standard 15.6” FHD display with 144Hz refresh rate along with 5ms overdrive response. This one is equipped with the Legion Coldfront 2.0 thermal solutions with copper heat sinks along with quad ventilation system for better circulation of the air.
But, the factor that makes it stand out is the stunning 32GB DDR4 RAM along with 1TB PCIe SSD for storage. Packed with the standard Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard for smoother user experience.
IdeaPad Gaming 3
The last in the collection is the IdeaPad Gaming 3 that sports a stunning 15.6” wide-view angle FHD display with a narrow bezel design. Even this one is equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors for better gaming experience and productivity.
Aside from that, it has a 120Hz refresh rated along with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU for enhanced graphics experience beyond your imagination. Much like the prior one, even this one supports 32GB DDR4 RAM along with 1TB PCIe SSD for storage.

Desktop launches
Aside from the mobile processors and gaming devices, there have been two other additions to the desktop range. It includes the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 along with IdeaCentre Gaming 5, both of which have been introduced to take your gaming experience to another level.
Pricing and availability
The 17-inch Lenovo Legion 5 is expected to be available from September 2020 at a starting price of $1089.99.
The IdeaPad Gaming 3 is expected to be available from July 2020 at a starting price of $659.99.
The Lenovo Legion 5P laptop is not going to be available in North America along with IdeaCentre Gaming 5 desktop. You need to contact the local stores for better updates.
The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 desktop is expected to be available from October 2020 at a starting price of $829.99.
