Intel has finally launched the NUC X15 laptop kit as their first reference gaming laptop. The outlook of the device was leaked last month.
At this point, it is still a point of skepticism whether big tech brands will take up and build on the reference gaming laptop from Intel yet but they have released all the specifications and allied configurations of the device.
This laptop kit from Intel includes five different variations of the referencing gaming laptop model, all integrated with the latest Intel Tiger Lake CPUs and the NVIDIA RTX 30 GPUs.
Besides the powerhouse, these devices are also integrated with dual-channel SODIMMs and a highly responsive 16:9 aspect ratio display for those vibrant and vivid color reproduction.
Also, the device is backed with the per-key RGB backlighting and the standard mechanical keyboard for a comfortable typing experience.
The first device from the list of options is a beginner level gaming model, integrated with the combination of the Intel Core i5-11400H processor and GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.
Besides that, the device is also going to come out with a highly responsive 144Hz refresh rate and FHD display panel.
Apart from the entry-level model, the remaining four devices are further powered by a combination of the Intel Core i7-11800H processor with the GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.
The only point of change will be in the display configuration, which will be available with a choice between QHD 165Hz refresh rate and the FHD 144Hz refresh rate.
All the five variants under the NUC X15 laptop kit is integrated with the 94 Wh battery for long lasting battery life for extended user experience. Other than that, the devices will also boast a range of I/O ports, including the much coveted HDMI 2.1 for external monitor connectivity.
