While HUAWEI is known for their unique devices and features, the tech company has finally unveiled and launched their upcoming new laptops, the MateBook D14 and D15, integrated with Intel and Ryzen processors for the users to pick and choose as per their preference. The company has launched four different laptops, the MateBook D14, MateBook D14 AMD, MateBook D15, MateBook D15 AMD.
All the four models of the laptops are powered by the latest 10th Generation Intel processors along with the AMD's 12nm Ryzen R5 3500U processor. While the Ryzen powered variants have been integrated with the Radeon Vega 8 Graphics, the Intel variants are integrated with the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics.
It is not just the processors in the laptops that stand out but there are several other features that give these devices the unique characteristic feature that bends people to buy it. The laptops also feature the much coveted TUV Rheinland-certified display for improved viewing experience without any kind of issues along the way. In addition to that, the devices also come with thin bezels that further ensure that you can utilize the maximum screen space. There is also a fingerprint sensor which is embedded on the power button to further ensure maximum security.
The MateBook D14 and D15 Laptops have a lot in common when it comes to the specifications, both in terms of the exterior and the interior design specifications. The MateBook 15 is the bigger version of the two and comes with a 15.6” full high definition display while the MateBook 14 comes with a 14” display but all the four variants come with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
In terms of storage, the MateBook D14 comes with a storage of up to 512GB of SSD while the MateBook D15 comes with a 256GB SSD storage along with 1TB HDD storage option. In addition to all this, the models also have the best connectivity options with the 2×2 Wi-Fi 5 along with Bluetooth 5 and the other connectivity ports to ensure seamless experience with the outer world. The webcam integrated in the devices along come with the option of hiding with a key.
The devices are not that heavy and thick in terms of appearance which further makes it quite a good option to look into. The laptops are expected to range between $550- $1000, depending on the variant that one opts for. The models are now up for pre-orders in China. The final sale of the laptops will start from December 02, 2019 in China.
Whether or not the company plans on shipping the laptops to the other countries is still confusion at this point. It is a possibility that the laptops will be marketed to the other parts but nothing is set in stone.
