Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 7370 Introduction
Dell renowned for delivering quality products and that’s what instilled in Inspiron 13 7000 Series. Dell introduced 7000 series few years back and from that time till now it holds best of the available hardware and software in the market. There were few tweaks done in 7000 series from time to time and this is the first time that ULV Hyperthreading Quad Core i5 8250U introduced in Inspiron 7000 series.
Inspiron 13 7000 Series 7370 laptop wrapped up in very superior aluminum chassis. Processor changed from dual core to quad core in which now we have four physical cores. Aluminum chassis looks solid on the outer. Chassis to keyboard or lid to the bottom you can see little bit of flexibility in every part which makes it easier to handle and tough to use.
Design
Talking about design, it is very smooth, compact, slim and shiny looks, tough by nature and easy to handle. Nice smooth edges covered this laptop beautifully. On the outer part, you can see Dell logo embedded on aluminum chassis which looks elegant and stylish. There is high gloss rim on the click pad and on the outer part which increased the stylish value of this laptop.
Dell Inspiron series remain stylish always and this follows in 7370 series as well. The lid is bit heavy one and you can’t open it with single hand you have to use your second hand to press the bottom of laptop to open up the lid. Black keys incorporated in this laptop’s keyboard looks beautiful in silver chassis.
Display
Dell Inspiron 7370 got 13.3” full HD IPS Touch and Non-Touch display. Anti-reflective coating is provided in the display. There is 1920 x 1080 screen resolution with the density of 165 ppi. Display is crystal clear, crisp and very sharp. Screen’s contrast ratio is excellent you can get 912:1 ratio which is much higher than its competitors.
Outdoor display is not quite vibrant. You can see that there is display issue with reflective screen and limited luminosity. Display definitely requires little bit of attention from Dell as you can’t see vibrant picture quality in the outdoors. Viewing angles of IPS panel always provide you lot of freedom and 7370 offers the same. You can view quality pictures with superb brightness and contrast until 45 degrees of angle which is exceptional among its competitors.
Intel UHD graphic card 620 with shared graphic memory provides display in this laptop which is fast and smooth. Display quality is amazing while you play high-end games, 2-D games, movies or any videos. 3-D games can give you some glitch at low graphic setting which needs to overcome in further series.
Hardware
Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 7370 possesses Intel 8th generation i5-8250 quad core processor in which clock speed can reach up to 3.4 GHZ. This advanced processor is well supported with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. You can get 256 GB of SSD (Solid State Drive) in this laptop which is enough to store your daily applications, documents, audio and video with ease.
Display is provided through Intel UHD graphic card 620 with shared graphic memory whose performance is decent indoor. Lacks a bit in outdoor but then we normally use laptop indoors so no such big issue. There are thin bezels design on the screen which looks beautiful. Every detail is crisp and clear. Keyboard keys are smooth, well-spaced and backlit which makes it impressive to handle.
Battery
This Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 7370 holds 3-cell battery and mentioned that it can last up to 9 hours of working. But on real test and reviews battery doesn’t hold that much enough. General review is that it can last for approx. 6-7 working hours and that as well on low level of brightness. 38 Whr also seems to be bit low on power side which again requires an upgrade.
Connectivity
This laptop can be connected through Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi wirelessly. USB ports and lot of other connection can be easily made to this laptop without much hurdles.
Not so Good
Most of the features are impressive but require some upgrades mainly on battery and display side. Battery backup of 9 -10 hours is must for any laptop but this laptop gives you only 6-7 hours of backup which is quite less. Verdict
Most of the features, hardware and operating system are something which you can easily rely on. Brand name is there which provides you trust. Thin bezels and backlit keyboard is attractive feature for the laptop. So, feature wise, hardware wise and brand wise you can’t complain much.
