Launch of the Next-Gen Apple Chipset – M2
Ever since Apple has started manufacturing and integrating their own chipset into the device, the tech brand has consistently developed and improved their products every step of the way.
M2 marks the second-generation of Apple’s M-series chipset and features an improved outlook from the pre-existing M1 chip. Besides power efficiency, M2 packs in improved memory architecture and custom technologies to support the growing processing demand of the consumers.
The M2 chip is integrated with an 8-core CPU with Apple’s first-gen 10-cores GPU configuration to support optimal visuals and appearance. Pair that with 100GB/s memory bandwidth and up to 24GB unified memory, users will never have to compromise on the workflow and performance.
Redesigned MacBook Air
The development and build of the upcoming MacBook Air has been done around the production of M2 chip. So, the model features an incredibly thin, lightweight and portable design measuring 11.3 mm in thickness and weighs 2.7 pounds.
