While the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core i7-10700K managed to secure a lot of similar factors to their existing features and processor efficiency, the Ryzen 7 5800X outdid the Intel’s processor in terms of the performance and the overall productivity.
Clarifying the first few features, both the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core i7-10700K feature 3.80 GHz frequency. The single core performance of the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X ran at 4.70GHz while the Intel Core i7-10700K ran at 5.10GHz.
Aside from that, both the chipset run on 8 cores for ample and seamless performance. With a normal core architecture, they also feature overclocking functions with hyperthreading.
Cinebench conducted a few performance tests using single core CPU functions to compare the efficiency of AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core i7-10700K. As per the Cinebench R23 single core performance, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X performed at 1596 while the Intel Core i7-10700K stood at 1319.
When it came to the multi-core performance testing, the Ryzen 7 5800X performed at 15245 points while the Intel Core i7-10700K performed at 12678 points. Not just the successor, the benchmark tests were also conducted under Cinebench R20, both with single core and multi-core performance.
The Ryzen 7 5800X performed at 624 points while the Intel Core i7-10700K performed at 517 points. In the multi-core performance test., the Ryzen 7 5800X performed at 6112 points while the Intel Core i7-10700K performed at 4974 points.
These are some of the recent findings that were listed out on a Twitter account of @harukaze5719. Further details have not been disclosed about the performance of these chipsets.
