AMD Radeon RX 6600M Spotted in Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop

A new gaming laptop from Lenovo, Legion 5 has been spotted on a user benchmark website, suggesting the tech brand is going to release this device with the AMD Radeon RX 6600M, making it one of the first all-AMD laptops.

With so many floating rumors around, a trusted leaker, Rogame has finally discovered a Lenovo gaming laptop featuring the latest AMD Radeon RX 6600M GPU and AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors, making the Legion 5 one of the first all-AMD devices.

The leak came out from a UserBenchmark website, confirming that Lenovo is all set to launch this all-AMD device for its users. However, there are so specifications about the model and the kind of features and functionalities it will come out with. However, users have managed to obtain a datasheet of the Legion 5 model and connected the dots.

There are a few existing IdeaPads and Legion laptops that are powered by the AMD Ryzen 5000H series processors, however, all the previous devices feature the discrete NVIDIA graphics in it.

This upcoming Legion 5 gaming laptop is going to be a different scene, primarily because of the fact that this is going to be the first all-AMD laptop from Lenovo.

As for the specifications of the AMD Radeon RX 6600M, the GPU features Navi 23 GPU with 1792 stream processors. This is not a high-end or high-performance GPU, meaning that it is designed for lightweight gaming experience of the users.

However, the specifications suggest that the AMD Radeon RX 6600M is worthy enough to compete with the NVIDIA RTX 3060 Laptop GPU.

The announcement of the Radeon RX 6600M was done a month ago but hasn’t been released integrated in a laptop yet. So, chances are that the Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop is going to be the first of many.

The GPU is yet to be backed by the Radeon Adrenaline drivers, which suggests that there might be a slight delay with the official launch. Further reports from Rogame suggest that the upcoming Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop is going to be integrated with 16GB RAM and superior functionalities to offer uninterrupted gameplay.
