Acer has finally added two more extraordinary additions to their existing TravelMate notebook collections with the convertible TravelMate Spin B3 and clamshell TravelMate B3, which are going to render better results for the K-12 education classrooms. The combination of the sleek, portable design and enhanced performance is what the majority of the users are looking forward to.
The models measure 11.6 inches and account for both in the school and out of school use. Both the launched models feature the latest Intel and Celeron processors for reliable performance like no other. It also does comply with the MIL-STD 810G military standard which further improves the overall credibility.
It has been designed and tested out to withstand any kind of bumps and impacts to further ensure enhanced durability like nothing else. The additional pressure resistant top cover along with the shock absorbent rubber bumper further ups the durability even further. The best thing about these devices is the fact that they last up to 12 hours of battery life with just a single charge.
The TravelMate Spin B3 also comes in four alternative and adjustable modes including the clamshell mode, display mode, tent mode and the work by hand mode. The device is also integrated with the world facing camera that lets the users capture the needed multimedia in the tablet mode itself.
Aside from everything, the inclusion of the Wacom AES technology makes writing on the tablet a lot easier with the dockable stylus. The one unique thing about these new models is the battery indicator on the front cover which comes with an indicator light that further allows the teachers to keep an eye out on which student’s laptop needs charging.
The addition of the anchored keys along with the easy fix keyboard makes it easier for the school technician to fix the issues in case the situations like that arise.
Much like all the other available modes from Acer, even the TravelMate Spin B3 and the TravelMate B3 come with all the integrated connectivity options needed for the students and the users from any field.
The TravelMate B3 is going to be available from April at a starting price of $239.00 and the TravelMate Spin B3 is going to be available from April at a starting price of $329.00.
