With the new launches that have been happening with the other brands, Acer didn’t want to stay behind and finally announced the launch of four new devices across the existing Swift, Spin and Aspire series. All of these models are powered by the latest 11th Gen. Intel core processors and the Intel Iris Xe graphics for unmatched productivity.
The unique thing about the four new devices include the striking design and build aesthetics with the amalgamation of the latest technology for smoother user experience. The new launches include:
Acer Swift 3x
Aside from the newly launched 11th Gen. Intel core processor, this device also features the exclusive Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics paired with it. The device is specifically developed for content creators across various platforms.
It is thin and lightweight, weighing just around 1.8 kg and is backed by a battery life of 17.5 hours with medium usage. It also features fast charging that ensures 30 minutes of charging for 4 hours of uninterrupted work.
As for the display, the Swift 3x features a 14” FHD display with an 84% screen to body ratio. It is also backed by the best I/O ports and wireless connectivity with the Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+). The USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports ensure smoother data transfer without any obstructions.
Acer Spin 5
The next launch in the list is the Spin 5 which has already bagged the 2020 Red Dot Design Award. This highly competitive touchscreen convertible device weighs just 1.2 kg and is a highly portable and productive device.
The device features a stunning 360-degree hinge that allows the user to convert it into multiple modes of viewing and usage, depending on the needs of the user. The slightly elevated keyboard design ensures comfortable typing and smoother thermal management of the device for maximum productivity.
The unique feature about this device is the additional layer of Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla glass over the touchscreen and keypad that keeps work smooth. This keeps the microbial reduction at its peak, ensuring better health of the users.
It is powered by the 11th Gen. Intel core processors and features a 3:2 IPS VertiView display with 80% screen to body ratio. The Spin 5 also has up to 15 hours of battery life and highly functional ports and wireless connectivity.
Acer Spin 3
Much like Spin 5, even Spin 3 is a convertible notebook that features a 13.3-inch multi-touch IPS display for smoother performance and unmatched productivity. It is powered by the 11th Gen. Intel core processors along with the Intel Iris Xe graphics for crisp visuals.
The 360-degree hinge enables smoother work experience, anywhere and anytime. It is designed with dual SSDs for faster boot-up storage and highly functional ports for smoother data transfer.
Acer Aspire 5
The last device in this batch of launch is the Aspire 5 which is the only one with an optional discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPUs that enables smoother gaming experience for the users. This also eases the strain of multitasking on the device.
The FHD IPS type display features 80% screen to body ratio for crisp and clear visuals. It features a combination of 1TB SSD along with 2TB HDD for additional storage along with 24GB RAM for memory options.
Even this one features and ergonomic hinge lift that ensures comfortable typing experience for the users. The Acer Color intelligence in the device reproduces vivid colours for better viewing experience.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer Spin 3x is going to be available at a starting price of $899.99 in North America from December, 2020.
The Acer Spin 5 is going to be available at a starting price of $999.99 in North America from February, 2021.
The Acer Spin 3 is going to be available at a starting price of $849.99 in North America from March, 2021.
